Instrument Projection
Two LEDs project upon the patient’s napkin/torso key instrument information. Dental practitioners often need to balance intra-oral operations with an instant assessment of each tool's settings, with their eyes needed to flick between the two.
This innovative solution reduces eye strain by maintaining an almost singular visual focal point. Called 'lighting ergonomics' the result is a simple solution with an immediate impact on day-to-day activities.
Balanced instruments
On the balanced spring model, each instrument is perfectly weighted and the extra-long silicone hoses deliver enhanced reach and dexterity. The benefit of the balanced instruments is reduced fatigue and increased work precision due to shared weight-bearing and balance.
UNICline S dental chair instruments are calibrated so your hand does not need to bear the full weight or experience influence from external forces when you are performing precision work. Reduced operational fatigue means operators can maintain focus and accuracy for longer without feeling tired at the end of a session.
Assistant Ergonomics
The in-built assistant’s instrument arm is designed with a telescopic reach that can be adjusted from two to four-handed treatment, or from right to left-handed in seconds. This flexibility also means that the suction can always be placed optimally, avoiding upper body twisting.
The UNICline S is available with a camera, syringe and/or curing light on the telescopic arm. Besides suction, there are two instrument positions available. This provides optimum possibilities for involving the assistant in the treatment.
Console top and delivery table
The delivery table is minimalist and simple. Not only does this reduce visual clutter but also makes cleaning a quick and easy process.
Both the console top and delivery table are CNC processed from a single sheet of aluminium onto which is mounted a sheet of glass. The sleek and narrow design of the delivery table achieves optimum ergonomic working and creates the most hygienic surface possible. The display and touch keys are fully concealed under this sheet of glass, further enhancing the functional benefits.
Ergonomic Patient chair
The backrest is narrow at the top so that both the dentist and assistant can get close to the patient’s head, and sit in an ergonomically correct position. In addition, the backrest is thin so there is plenty of space to work around.
The patient chair can be raised to a high level suitable for the work required. This provides excellent opportunities for working in an upright position.
Turnable spittoon
The spittoon can be installed as an option when ordering a new dental treatment centre but can also be retrofitted to existing dental treatment units.
Available as an optional extra, both spittoon and glass plate can be delivered with an adjustable light effect in a variety of colours. The spittoon can be set for an automatic shift to green when the rinse is ready, for extra visual guidance.
Minimalist delivery table
The delivery table is effectively minimalist without any superfluous features or unnecessary gadgets.
The sleek and narrow design of the delivery table is a prerequisite for achieving optimum ergonomic working positions around the patient while ensuring a clutter-free workspace for the dental professional.
Arm made from anodised aluminium
The UNICline S’s arm hides the cables, water, and air lines behind its light, but hard-wearing surface of anodised aluminium.
The big joints move with precision in every direction, despite the various strains they come under from the delivery table, monitor, x-ray unit, and light. The result is an arm with optimal balance and precision.
